TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOLS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (THSDP) |
1. BACKGROUND
The Technical High Schools Development Project (THSDP) was officially launched in March 1995. The following were the major activities conducted during the Project Planning phase:
- Baseline study conducted to determine the status of physical facilities and equipment, management and administration, curriculum and teaching, students’ performance etc.
- Discussions of the findings with each school and strategies for maximizing strengths and addressing areas in need of improvement.
- Planning and conducting a one-week residential workshop in School Development Planning for Principals, Vice Principals and Education Officers.
